Okay, so I have been a little lax after starting this blog. I’ve been focusing my attentions elsewhere. Well, I am back and refocusing my energy here. First of, let me just say that I love to cook. It is definitely one of my passions. However, I am not much for baking. So I want to share my first baking experiment with you.
The recipe comes from the Barefoot Contessa a show on the food network. The recipe is for lemon pound cake. I wanted to start with something easy and pound cakes are pretty basic. I must say it was much easier than I anticipated and turned out wonderfully.

To confirm the success of my experiment, I took one to the cakes to work and my co-workers loved them. This recipe will make everyone think that you are a world class baker. I highly suggest that you try it!
